SPELLING STAMP ORGANIZER

I am so excited about this project that I just finished!!!  I have wanted some mini alphabet stamps for-ev-ah and I finally found some in the dollar bin at Target.  I even found some mini stamp pads too.  So, I quickly snatched six sets of stamps and six stamp pads.  I let the little suckers sit around my house for a day while I wondered how I was going to store them at school.  Then lightning struck…HOBBY LOBBY!  Cruising the aisles I found an amazing bead organizer that was going to work perfectly.

COSTS:
6 mini alphabet stamps:  $6
6 mini-stamp pads (blue, green, and red):  $6
1 bead organizer:  $5.99
Materials that I already had (glue, printer/ink, sticker numbers):  $0
Total Cost:  $17.99

Now, when I put it all together like that and I see the price tag it seems like a lot.  However, considering that I got six sets of stamps for the same price or less than once set at a teacher store I think I did pretty good.  Also, this will allow for 6 students to do the activity/center independently anywhere in the classroom.  That is my kind of center work.  ;)   Ok, on to the good stuff…THE PICTURES!

Step 1:  Assemble the materials

Ink pads fit nicely inside the container.

Stick the letter stamps into the container.

Add numbers to the containers and base.

Print labels, trim, and glue to the backside of each container.  Cover with clear packing tape.

View of labels.  I wanted to keep them labeled so the kids would know which bin to put each letter in.

Glue a label onto the inside of the container lid and you are done!  Six sets of  stamping kits are ready to use for weekly spelling station.

    1. Hi Kelsey,
I would happily share the lid label that I created. Currently I'm on vacation out of state and don't have my USB with me, but as soon as I have it in my hands I will post the file. ;)

    2. Oh Kelsey...I've just made it to my USB and cannot find file with the template anywhere! However, if you let me know the dimensions of the lid I'll make a new one. :)

I know the diameter is 4, 5, or 6 inches or so, but I don't know for sure.
