Parent Contact Cards

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all doing well.  Currently I am on vacation visiting my family trying to relax.  I checked my work email earlier and found that I had 54 emails requesting my Parent Contact Cards.  That prompted me to edit my classroom website a little (and direct all teachers straight to my blog) and made me think that some of you may not have seen my Parent Contact Cards yet and may be interested.  So here goes (you can also find this info on the FREEBIES page).  Just click on the link below to grab the freebie.

PARENT CONTACT INFORMATION:  You might like these Parent Contact cards.  Last year Two years ago,  I sent them home at Orientation Night and had the students bring them back on the first day of school.  It was a great way to get all the info without me having to  write it all out myself.  Also, when making a phone call to the parent, you just take the handy little book and you can write down comments on the back of the card.  **These cards are formatted to print on a 4x6 index card.**

If you need a version of this card that you can edit or if you have any problem with the Google Docs version, please feel free to email me at wisewittyteacher@gmail.com anytime.  I'll be checking my email, but since I'm on vacation my response time may be slower than usual.

  4. Uggh...I hate that this is giving problems. :(

I'm online today so that I can email calendars and contact cards to those that have requested them, but for some reason Google is not working at all. I don't know what the problem is but it is killing me.

  5. I LOVE this idea. I keep a log right now, but I think I have too many 3 ring binders! I like this smaller size.

I nominated you for The Versatile Blogger award! Head over here

  7. Hi!
As many others, I like your idea to use a smaller size binder. I think I will use this system for parent contacts, so thanks for the idea!!
Please, can you tell me which font you've used for typing your cards because I would like to use it for other forms I'm making for my class.

I'm a French teacher and I love how american teachers like you decorate your rooms! You have much bigger rooms than in France and you make them much more cosy!! I wish I had enough space and money to do the same...

    Thanks for all, Emilie

    1. Hi Emilie!

I'm so glad that you have enjoyed my blog. To answer your questions the fonts I used on the parent contact cards are "Architect's Daughter" which you can download for free at http://www.dafont.com/architects-daughter.font and Pea KT Polkie Dot which you can download for free at http://kevinandamanda.com/fonts/fontsforpeas/?s=polkie+dot

  8. I love this idea!
Often times the main office is the only place that has this kind of information on the students. I think it would be helpful to keep it in your classroom as well, for emergency purposes, homework issues, etc. And, like you've displayed above, it doesn't have to be all that complicated.
    Thanks for sharing!
